For the One Vision

God is moving.

God is calling us to a bold new chapter—one where we step out in faith For the One. As our city grows with new faces and stories, we can’t assume everyone knows Jesus. People around us are searching for hope and meaning, and we must reach them. Jesus left the 99 to find the one, and He’s calling us to do the same. To be a church For the One.

Harvester Christian Church’s mission has always been to lead people to find and follow Jesus. In this season, we’re stepping out together to reach those who haven’t yet experienced His love. We each have a part to play and each step of obedience matters. Let’s trust God, move forward together, and see how He shapes the future For the One. Because each one matters to God and each one matters to us.

100% Engaged

We believe that everyone at Harvester Christian Church has a role to play in this vision, so our goal is 100% participation across all campuses. God is calling us to pray, serve, and give—united as one church family—reaching our neighbors together. By stepping out in faith, each of us has the opportunity to be part of something bigger than ourselves—a movement to unleash the gospel in our city and beyond.

Secondary goal

200 Unleashed

Our vision is to identify and unleash 200 Harvesters who will serve as fully engaged members at the new O’Fallon campus. These leaders will be on the front lines, using their unique gifts as small group leaders, worship leaders, kids ministry volunteers, etc. These 200 leaders will be the heartbeat of a new, thriving, Christ-centered church reaching the lost and wounded in O’Fallon, Missouri.

Tertiary goal

$6-8 Million Given

We are believing God to provide $6-8 million over the next 25 months, above and beyond our regular giving. This is a bold step of faith, and these funds will be focused to reach the One. If God blesses us beyond that, we have even greater dreams ahead.

CELEBRATION GOAL

$6 million for Multisite Outreach

For the One will allow us to fund the acquisition and renovation of a facility and launch a new campus to reach the lost. We will also be able to reconfigure our Troy campus to accommodate 52% more people, reaching 400 attendees each weekend.

$8 million to Launch Debt-Free

Reaching our Dream Goal of an additional $2 million will allow us to fund multisite launch costs without incurring additional long-term debt.

Above and Beyond!

If God blesses us beyond the $8 million goal, we hope to use the surplus to pay down our mortgage and prepare for further multisite outreach initiatives.

Vision Nights

We’re stepping out in faith with the For the One campaign—a bold vision to reach the lost, and unleash Harvester for something far bigger than ourselves. Vision Night is where it begins. This night will unveil the vision, plan, and next steps for what's ahead. Plus, there’s a special kids’ program so the whole family can be involved!

Pray

We are trusting God to move powerfully through this campaign, and prayer is essential. We encourage you to pray for the One in your neighborhood—those who do not yet know Christ. Pray for the lost in O’Fallon, that they will experience the life-changing message of Jesus. Also, take time to reflect on your own heart and ask God how He is leading you in your generosity.

We have a 24 Hour Prayer event on March 7th-8th and we invite you to be a part of it as we come together in unity and faith.

Commit

We’re inviting everyone at Harvester to prayerfully consider their commitment to For the One. Commitment Sunday is March 9th when we’ll ask everyone to make their 25-month consistent giving pledge, as well as a one-time courageous gift. On that day, each person will receive a physical commitment card, and we’ll also provide an online version for those who prefer to commit digitally.

Giving toward For the One will begin on Commitment Sunday, March 9th and can be made through cash, check, or online, payable to Harvester Christian Church with the designation 'For the One.'
